I think most of us can agree that seeing food go to waste doesn’t feel good. Opening the refrigerator to find wilted lettuce, or those rubbery carrots in the crisper drawer makes our stomachs sink.
Not to mention the little twinge of guilt we feel when we reach for a plastic baggie in the grocery store, or to keep a spare lemon slice in our fridge.
Limiting food waste is something I strive for in our home and I’d also like to do more to eliminate plastic waste. Which is why I’m grateful to be partnering with Lily Cameron, Co-Founder of Wild Minimalist, to learn all there is to learn about creating a zero waste kitchen.
The purpose of this conversation is to explore ways to eliminate food waste and plastic waste in the kitchen. You’ll leave feeling inspired, capable, and confident; armed with the tools to improve meal planning and make your kitchen more sustainable.
Lily will review:
9 easy steps for transitioning to a zero waste kitchen
How to eliminate plastic from grocery shopping
Tips for storing and preserving food without plastic waste
Kelly will review:
